Some clues that it is a commercial 370/429 engine: A 370/429 commercial truck engine would be a D9TE-AB block (429. It uses the D9TE-AB cylinder block just like the 1979-up light truck 460 engines (F250, E250, etc). One way to identify 429 vs 460 is to flip the motor over and unbutton the pan.
